Monday, November19, saw John Loscher and Marie Kavanagh take first place for North/South, second Samus Kennedy and Pauric Gleeson, third Ger Lenihan and Margaret Bolger and fourth place went to Kay Plunkett and Mary Pierce. Victors for East/West were Rowena Brady and Paddy O'Brien, second Bridie Nolan and Phil Power, third Margaret Byrne and Maura Gaskin and fourth Clare Sally and Pamela Byrne.

Some of the material from the 'F. O'Flanagan: Recorder of Dalkey' exhibition held in the Lexicon earlier this year, based on his recently donated extensive archive materials, will be on display in Dalkey Library till the end of August. Festive refreshments will be available afterwards in the Parish Hall. Mass (circa 6.45p.m.) on Saturday, December8, in the grounds of Roundwood Garda Station. Get your Santa hats and jumpers ready in Roundwood and Moneystown as the Christmas tree lights will be turned on in the village and everyone is invited to come along to make it a special community event to mark the start of the Christmas festivities. The lights will be switched after 6p.m.
